This guide explains how to use the search and sorting functions within the tracking projects list.
1. Finding the Project List
When you access the Tracking module, you will see a table listing all created projects.
The table contains the following columns, which you can use to search and sort data:
- Project Name
- Website
- Goals
- Status
2. Searching for a Project (Text Filter)
To quickly find a specific project, you can use the general search bar.
1. Locate the search bar: The search bar is usually located above the top right corner of the projects table.
2. Type the search term: Enter the project name, part of the website domain, or a keyword related to the goals.
3. View results: The list will automatically update in real time, showing only projects that contain the typed text in one of the columns.
3. Sorting Projects (Column Sorting)
You can sort the entire list of projects based on values contained in a specific column (for example, to see active projects first, or by name in alphabetical order).
1. Identify the column: Click on the header of the column you want to use for sorting (e.g., Project Name or Status).
2. Sort Ascending (A-Z or 1-9): On first click, the column will be sorted in ascending order (alphabetical or numerical). You will see a small arrow or icon next to the column name indicating the sort direction (usually pointing up).
3. Sort Descending (Z-A or 9-1): Click again on the same column header to reverse sorting order to descending (usually with arrow pointing down).
You can sort by:
- Project Name: To view projects in alphabetical order.
- Website: To group projects tracking the same domain.
- Goals: To sort based on active goals in the project.
- Status: To display
ActiveorInactiveprojects first.
> Note: You can only sort the list based on one column at a time.
