This guide shows you how to set up the tracking goal for completed purchases on your website, offering the option to also include orders that have not yet been paid.
> Note: To track purchases, your tracking project must be active and the integration code installed on your website.
Step-by-step procedure
To configure the "Purchase" goal, follow these steps:
1. Activate the "Purchase" Goal
1. Access the edit page of your Tracking Project.
2. Go to the Goals section (the second step of the wizard).
3. Locate the box titled Purchase.
4. In the box, click on the Activate button.
2. Choose the Interception Method
After activating the goal, you need to specify how the system should detect the transaction.
1. In the Interception method* field, select one of the following options:
- Intercept automatically (Recommended): If your site uses the integrated e-commerce system, tracking is handled automatically.
- Track action manually (Advanced): If you are using an external or customized checkout system, you will need to manually integrate the provided JavaScript code.
3. Include Unpaid Orders
To ensure that tracking includes all transactions, even those pending payment (such as bank transfers or pending payments):
1. Locate the Unpaid orders section.
2. Check the box next to Also track unpaid orders.
4. Configure External Tracking (Optional)
If you want to send purchase data to external advertising platforms (such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.):
1. Under the label Third-party Tracking, check the Enable box.
2. Scroll down to view the Tracking Preference section.
3. Configure specific parameters for each platform (for example, entering Event Name and required Values).
> Offline Tracking Tip: The system also supports Offline sales tracking. To activate this feature, you must create a Sale operation via the Sales module.
5. Save Changes
1. Complete configuring other sections of the project if necessary.
2. Click on the project's Save button to apply changes.
