This guide is intended for non-technical users and describes how to update the settings of a tracking project or how to remove it completely.
Guide: Modify or Delete an Existing Tracking Project
Follow these steps to manage your tracking projects.
1. Modify a Tracking Project
To update the name, tracking codes (Pixel, Analytics, etc.), or goals of an existing project:
1. Access the project list: On the main screen of the Tracking module, locate the table listing your projects.
2. Select the project: Click on the project you want to modify. The edit screen will open.
3. Edit Project Data (Step 1):
- Update the
Project Name*. - In the
Enabled Domainssection, you can choose whether tracking should be active on the main domain, on aFunnel, onAdditional Domains, or if you need toInsert an external domain. - If you selected "Insert an external domain," enter the
List of enabled domainsin the field below. - Make sure the
Activecheckbox is checked if you want the project to remain active.
4. Modify Tracking Codes: Scroll down to update or add codes specific to various platforms:
- Meta Ads: Enter the
Dataset ID(Pixel ID) or theAPI Conversions Access token. - Google: Update codes for
Google Analytics,Google Ads, orGoogle Tag Manager. - Other platforms: Enter IDs for X (Ex Twitter), Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Reddit Ads, or Quora Ads.
- If you have enabled
Custom Tracking, you can modify theJavaScript Code.
5. Modify Goals (Step 2): Click on the section or tab labeled Goals (if present in navigation).
- Here you find the list of trackable actions (e.g.,
Form Submission,Page Visit,Click). - For an existing goal, click on the action box to expand its settings.
- Enable/Disable: Use the
ActivateorDeactivatebutton at the top right corner of each action panel. - Configuration: Modify specific parameters of the action. For example, for
Form Submission, you can change theSelect form*or theForm Selector. - External Tracking: If you need to send the goal to external platforms, make sure that the checkbox under
Third-party TrackinglabeledEnableis checked and verify specific parameters for each platform (Facebook, Google, etc.).
6. Save changes: Click on the save button (usually located at the bottom of the page or in a fixed area) to confirm updates.
2. Delete a Tracking Project
Deleting a project is permanent and results in erasing all tracking statistics associated with it.
1. Access the project list: Return to the main screen where all tracking projects are listed.
2. Select delete option:
- Locate the project you want to delete.
- Click on the delete icon or button (often a trash bin or labeled "Delete") associated with that project's row.
3. Confirm deletion: The system will ask for confirmation. Confirm this action to permanently remove the project and its linked tracking data.
