Activate or deactivate the tracking project

This guide shows you how to activate or deactivate an existing tracking project by controlling whether the system should collect data for that project.


Activating or Deactivating a Tracking Project

Follow these steps to change the status of a tracking project:

1. Access the Project

1. Navigate to the list of your Tracking Projects.

2. Click on the name of the project you want to modify to open the configuration screen.

2. Change the Active Status

Once the project configuration page is opened, you will be automatically redirected to the first section: Project Data.

1. Scroll down to the Project Data section.

2. Locate the checkbox labeled Active.

3. To activate the project: Make sure the Active checkbox is checked (selected).

4. To deactivate the project: Make sure the Active checkbox is unchecked (empty).

3. Save Changes

1. Once you have set the desired status (Active or Inactive), click on the save button (usually Save or Confirm) at the bottom of the page or in the side navigation panel to apply the changes.

Important: If you deactivate a project, data collection and sending tracking events to external platforms (such as Google Ads or Meta Ads) will be stopped for all domains associated with that project.
