This guide explains how to set the direction in which report data is sorted (from highest to lowest, or vice versa).
Procedure for Selecting the Sorting Direction
1. After selecting a Data Source or a Saved Report, scroll down the page until you see the Filters and Sorting panel.
2. Within this panel, make sure you have selected a sorting criterion in the field labeled Sorting.
3. Next to the Sorting field, you will find a second dropdown menu that controls the direction.
4. Click on this dropdown menu and choose one of the following options:
- Descending: Sorts data from highest to lowest value (e.g., 10, 9, 8...) or in reverse alphabetical order (Z, Y, X...).
- Ascending: Sorts data from lowest to highest value (e.g., 1, 2, 3...) or in alphabetical order (A, B, C...).
5. The report will update automatically to apply the new sorting direction.
