Select the sorting direction (ascending or descending)

This guide explains how to set the direction in which report data is sorted (from highest to lowest, or vice versa).


Procedure for Selecting the Sorting Direction

1. After selecting a Data Source or a Saved Report, scroll down the page until you see the Filters and Sorting panel.

2. Within this panel, make sure you have selected a sorting criterion in the field labeled Sorting.

3. Next to the Sorting field, you will find a second dropdown menu that controls the direction.

4. Click on this dropdown menu and choose one of the following options:

  • Descending: Sorts data from highest to lowest value (e.g., 10, 9, 8...) or in reverse alphabetical order (Z, Y, X...).
  • Ascending: Sorts data from lowest to highest value (e.g., 1, 2, 3...) or in alphabetical order (A, B, C...).

5. The report will update automatically to apply the new sorting direction.
