Schedule the recurring sending of the report

This guide explains how to set up automatic and recurring sending of a report via email.

Schedule Recurring Report Sending

To set up a schedule, you must first have configured the desired report and accessed the notification feature (usually available after saving the report).

Scheduling Procedure

1. Enable Scheduling: In the sending configuration window, look for the section dedicated to scheduling.

  • Check the box next to Schedule sending.
  • Note: If you are editing an existing notification, the scheduling option may already be visible.

2. Define Sending Frequency: Once scheduling is enabled, the scheduling section will appear.

  • Use the control (identified as #subscription_schedule) to define when and how often the report should be sent (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).

3. Specify Recipients: Indicate who should receive the report.

  • In the field labeled Who should receive the report?, enter the recipients' email addresses separated by commas.

4. Add a Message (Optional):

  • In the field Do you want to attach a message to the email?, you can type text that will be included in the body of the notification email.

5. Save Configuration:

  • Complete the save operation in the configuration window to activate recurring sending.

Edit or Delete an Existing Schedule

If you are working on an active notification:

1. Edit: You can update recipients, message, or sending frequency (in the #subscription_schedule control) and save the configuration to apply changes.

2. Delete Notification: To stop recurring sending, click on the Delete notification button (located within the red warning at the bottom of the configuration window). Confirm deletion when prompted.
