This guide is intended for users who want to limit the data displayed in a report by selecting a predefined state (such as "Active," "Expired," "Present," etc.) using the available filters.
Applying Filters Based on Predefined States
Most reports that manage items with states (such as subscriptions, payments, or users) offer predefined filters to quickly select only the items that are in a specific state (for example, only "Active" subscriptions).
Follow these steps to apply a state filter:
1. Select the Report
1. In the left sidebar, under the Create new report section, select the data source (for example, "Subscriptions" or "Users") that contains the desired information.
2. If you have already saved a report, select the desired report from the My reports section.
2. Access Specific Filters
Once the data source is loaded, the report configuration panel will appear in the center of the screen.
1. Locate the panel titled Filters and sorting. This panel contains all specific filters for the data source you selected.
2. If the panel is closed, click on the arrow icon (or fa-chevron-up) in the top right corner to expand it.
3. Apply the State Filter
Within the Filters and sorting panel, look for filter fields that use predefined states. These are generally represented by dropdown menus (<select>).
1. Locate the filter label representing the state you want to apply (for example, Subscription status, Payer, UTM presence, etc.).
2. Click on the dropdown menu below the label.
3. Select the desired state (for example, Active, Expired, Yes, Not present).
- Note: Selecting the Any option (or empty option) disables the filter, showing all data.
4. Update and View Results
After setting your desired filters, you need to update the report to apply changes.
1. At the top of the main panel, click on the Update button (identified by the refresh icon fa-refresh).
2. The report will reload and display only data matching the state or states you selected.
Tip: If you have applied complex filters or a combination of filters, remember to click on the Save button to save the updated report in the My reports section.
