This procedure allows you to define which data should be used to group information and populate the X-Axis of your chart (or the Rows of your table).
Prerequisite: You must have already selected a Data Source (for example, "Users" or "Payments") from the left sidebar.
Follow these steps to add an element to display (Dimension):
1. Locate the Configuration panel in the center of the screen.
2. Look for the first section titled Elements to Display (Rows / X-Axis).
3. Under this label, you will find a dropdown menu with the option + Add. Click on this menu.
4. Select the field you want to use to group the data (for example, Registration Date, Status, Name).
5. Once selected, the field will immediately appear as a colored "chip" in the section.
6. The report (chart and table) will automatically update to show data grouped based on the newly selected dimension.
> Tip: You can add multiple dimensions. The order in which they appear (from top to bottom) defines the grouping hierarchy. You can drag and drop the "chips" to change their order if needed.
How to Remove or Edit
- Remove: To delete a dimension, click on the X icon (
fa fa-times) next to the field name in the "chip". - Edit: Dimensions (Elements to Display) do not have calculation modification options, as they only define grouping. If you need to modify calculations, refer to the section "Data to Calculate (Values / Y-Axis)".
