Description: This tool allows you to create, save, and view custom reports by analyzing data from different areas of the platform (Marketing, Sales, Customers, etc.).
What is it for? (Practical Examples)
Use the Reporting tool to get a clear and actionable view of your business performance.
- Marketing Analysis: Calculate the average email open rate per list or campaign over a given period.
- Sales Monitoring: View the total sum of payments received, grouped by subscription plan or expiration date.
- Customer Segmentation: Identify customers based on geographic criteria (map) or advanced conditions (e.g., customers registered before [date] who have not logged in during the last 30 days).
Main Features
Report Creation and Management
- Saved Reports: View and load reports you have previously saved for quick reuse.
- Saving and Editing: Save a report configuration with a specific name for future access. You can modify and save existing reports.
- Data Refresh: Update report data in real-time to view the most recent information.
- Deletion: Remove saved reports that are no longer needed.
Report Configuration (Report Builder)
The core of the tool is the ability to precisely define what and how to display data:
1. Data Source Selection: Choose the thematic area to analyze (e.g., Subscriptions, Users, Forms, Tracking).
2. Definition of Elements to Display (Dimensions): Select fields that define rows or the X-axis of your report (e.g., Date, Campaign Name, Subscription Status). You can reorder these elements by dragging.
3. Definition of Data to Calculate (Metrics): Choose numerical values to aggregate and analyze (e.g., Revenue, Number of Users). For each metric, you can select the calculation function:
- Count (COUNT): Counts the number of items.
- Sum (SUM): Adds up values.
- Average (AVG): Calculates the average.
- Minimum (MIN): Finds the minimum value.
- Maximum (MAX): Finds the maximum value.
4. Filter Application: Apply specific conditions to limit analyzed data (e.g., "Status equals 'Active'", "City contains 'Rome'"). You can define logical operators (Equals, Not Equals, Greater Than, Less Than, Contains, Does Not Contain).
Results Visualization
The generated data is shown in two complementary formats:
- Charts: Choose the graphical representation type best suited for your data:
- Bar Chart
- Line Chart
- Pie Chart
- Donut Chart
- Tables: View raw data in tabular format, complete with all fields and calculated metrics.
Advanced Filters for Predefined Sources
In predefined data sources (such as Marketing, Users or Subscriptions), specific filters are available including:
| Data Area | Available Filters (Examples) |
|---|---|
| Marketing | Subscription/unsubscription date, List Name, Campaign. |
| Subscriptions/Sales | Registration date, Expiration date, Active/Expired status, Presence and Value of UTM parameters, Sponsor presence, Payment Type (New or Renewal). |
| Customers | Registration date, Gender, City, ZIP code, Advanced Conditions (to build complex queries on personal data). |
| Tracking | Date, Project, Tracked Event Type, UTM Value. |
| Generic | Date range filters and sorting options (ascending/descending). |
Automatic Integrations
Report Sending and Scheduling
You can configure automatic sending of reports via email to specific recipients:
1. Scheduling: Choose sending frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
2. Recipients: Specify email addresses that should receive the report.
3. Custom Message: Attach a text message to the notification email.
4. Applied Filters: The notification will include filtered data exactly as configured at saving time.
Data Export
Generated reports can be exported in various formats for external analysis or archiving:
- Export in PDF format.
- Export in XLS format (spreadsheet).
Customer Geographic Map (Requires Google Maps Plugin)
If supported by the data source (e.g., Customers), you can view your customers’ geographic distribution on an interactive map. The map uses clustering to group customers in high-density areas, allowing distribution analysis based on zoom level.
- Note: If the "Google Maps" plugin is not active, this feature will not be available.
