How to modify an existing redirect

Why do it: To update the source URL, destination URL, or type of an already configured redirect.

Procedure

1. Access the list of redirects.

2. Locate the redirect you want to edit and click on the corresponding row.

3. The editing screen will open in the General section.

4. Modify the data in the desired fields:

• Source URL: Enter the starting path of the redirect.
• Type: Select the appropriate redirect code (e.g., 301 - Permanent, 302 - Temporary, etc.).
• Active: Check the box to keep the redirect active, or uncheck it to deactivate it.

5. Update the destination URL:

• If you selected the Multiple Destinations type, modify the Multiple destination URLs field.
• For all other types, modify the Destination URL field.

6. Once you have completed your changes, click the Save changes (or Save) button to apply them.
