You can enable or disable an existing redirect in two ways: directly from the main list, or by editing the individual redirect.
Method 1: Quick Enable/Disable from the List
This is the fastest way to change the status of one or more redirects.
Procedure
1. Access the list of redirects.
2. Locate the redirect you want to modify. The Active column indicates the current status (Yes or No).
3. Depending on the current status, click the appropriate action button:
- If the redirect is active, click the Disable button.
- If the redirect is inactive, click the Enable button.
4. A dialog window titled "Status Update" will appear.
5. To confirm the action, click the Proceed button.
The redirect's status will be updated immediately in the list.
Method 2: Edit via the Detail Panel
You can also enable or disable a redirect while editing it.
Procedure
1. Access the list of redirects and open the redirect you want to modify.
2. In the General panel, look for the checkbox next to the label Active.
3. To enable the redirect, make sure the Active checkbox is checked.
4. To disable the redirect, uncheck the Active checkbox.
5. Click the save button (usually at the top or bottom of the page) to apply the change.
