Send an email to the customer (via mailto link)

This procedure allows you to quickly start a new email to the client using your default email program (such as Outlook, Thunderbird, or your operating system's Mail app).

The system uses a mailto link that transfers the client's email address directly to your email client.


Step-by-step Procedure

To send an email to the client directly from the conversation screen:

1. Select the Conversation

Click on the desired conversation in the list on the left (if it is not already open).

2. Open Client Details

In the conversation header, click the Details button (identified by the icon <i class="fas fa-info"></i> Details).

> Result: A side panel (the chat-info panel) will open showing the client's personal data and contact information.

3. Locate the Email

In the client details panel, scroll to the section containing the contact information. Look for the email address, which will be displayed as a button with the envelope icon:

4. Send the Email

Click on the email address.

> Result: Your default email program will open automatically. The client's email address will already be entered in the "To:" field (Recipient). You can proceed to write and send your email.
