This guide explains how to view the details and messages of an existing conversation within the message management module.
The list of conversations is located in the left column of the screen.
Procedure to Select a Conversation
1. Check the list status:
At the bottom of the left column, make sure the desired status is selected:
- Click on the speech bubble icon (<i class="fas fa-comment-dots"></i>) to view Ongoing conversations.
- Click on the trash can icon (<i class="fas fa-trash"></i>) to view Archived conversations.
2. Locate the conversation:
In the list (titled "Ongoing" or "Archived" depending on the selected filter), scroll until you find the conversation you want to open. Each list item shows:
- The avatar and the Customer Name.
- The last reply or the Subject of the conversation.
- The Date of the last message.
- A blue badge with a number, if there are Unread messages (<span class="badge badge-primary unread-badge">...</span>).
3. Open the conversation:
Click on the row corresponding to the conversation you want to view.
Once selected, the conversation will open in the central column (the discussion area), showing all sent and received messages.
> Tip: After selecting a conversation, the "unread messages" badge automatically disappears. If the conversation does not open immediately, messages may still be loading.
