Send an email to the customer

This guide shows you how to start a new conversation via email (or another outbound channel) with a client.


1. Start a New Conversation

1. In the left column, inside the In corso panel, click the Nuovo messaggio button.

2. A dropdown menu will open. Select the type of message you want to send (for example, Email, if available, or the appropriate outbound message type).

3. The view will change, showing the form for the "Nuova conversazione".

2. Fill in the Message Details

After selecting the message type, you need to specify the conversation details:

1. Seleziona destinatario: Enter and select the name of the client you want to send the message to.

2. Oggetto della conversazione: Enter a clear and concise subject for the communication.

3. Destinatario in copia (CC) (Optional): If you need to send a copy to additional addresses, enter them in this field.

4. Ricevi le risposte su (Optional): Check the default email address where you will receive the client's replies. If necessary, you can select other mailboxes.

3. Write and Format the Message

The text area is located at the bottom of the central panel.

1. Click in the text area showing the placeholder Scrivi qui il tuo messaggio... and type the body of your communication.

Additional Options:

  • Importa template: If you have predefined response templates, click the Importa template button and select the template to insert into the message body.
  • Emoji: Click the smiley face icon (<i class="far fa-smile"></i>) to open the emoji picker and add them to the text.
  • Allegati: If the message type allows it, you can attach files using the appropriate function (usually via the paperclip icon, if visible, or through the Azioni menu).

4. Send the Email

1. When the message is complete and ready to send, click the Invia button (<i class="fas fa-paper-plane"></i>) located at the bottom right corner.

2. If the sending is successful, the new conversation will appear in the In corso list on the left.

> Tip: If you are writing a long message, the system automatically saves a draft. If you switch conversations and come back, the text will still be there.


Sending a Reply to an Existing Conversation

If you need to reply to an already started conversation:

1. Click on the desired conversation in the list on the left.

2. Type your reply in the Scrivi qui il tuo messaggio... text area.

3. Click Invia (<i class="fas fa-paper-plane"></i>). Your reply will be added to the conversation history.
