This guide describes how to permanently delete a conversation, making it unrecoverable.
Permanently delete the conversation (via Details menu)
Follow these steps to permanently delete a conversation from the list:
1. Open the conversation you want to delete by clicking on its name in the list on the left.
2. Once opened, click the Details button (identified by the $i$ or $fas\ fa-info$ icon) located in the conversation header. The sidebar with author information will open.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Details panel to find the actions section.
4. Locate the status button group and click the dropdown button. The text on this button may be Archive (if the conversation is active) or Reopen (if the conversation is archived).
5. In the dropdown menu that appears, select the Delete permanently option (identified by the $fas\ fa-trash$ icon).
6. Confirm the permanent deletion when prompted by the system.
The conversation will be immediately removed from the list.
