This guide explains how to view and use a customer's phone number directly from the conversation (chat) screen, if the data is available in the profile.
Prerequisite: You must be inside the Messages management screen.
Procedure to call the customer
1. Select the conversation: Click on the customer's name in the conversation list on the left.
2. Open Details: In the conversation header (at the top), click the Details button (identified by the icon <i class="fas fa-info"></i>).
- This will open a side panel on the right containing the customer's profile information.
3. Locate the phone number: Scroll the details panel down to the section below the "Anagrafica" buttons.
4. Start the call: If the telefono_cellulare field is filled in the customer's profile, you will see a button with the phone icon (<i class="fa fa-phone"></i>) followed by the number.
- Click this button (for example: <i class="fa fa-phone"></i> 333 1234567).
5. Your browser or operating system will ask you to confirm opening the default phone application (for example, Skype, Teams, or the phone app if you are using a mobile device) to start the call.
