This guide shows you how to insert an internal note within a conversation, visible only to operators and not to the customer.
To add an internal note via the Actions menu:
1. Open the Conversation: Select the desired conversation from the list on the left.
2. Access the Actions Menu: In the bottom bar, next to the writing field, click the Actions button.
3. Select the Action: In the dropdown menu that appears, click the Internal Notes option.
4. Enter the Note: A dialog window titled Internal Notes will open.
- Write the text of your note in the field with the placeholder Insert notes....
- Warning: The note cannot be left empty, otherwise you will receive the error Notes cannot be empty.
5. Save: Click the Save note button to submit the internal note.
Once saved, the note will appear in the conversation flow with a specific label (Internal Note) and will be visible only to operators. You will receive the confirmation Notes added successfully.
