Add an internal note to the conversation

This guide explains how to insert a note visible only to operators within a conversation with a customer.

1. Open the conversation to which you want to add the note by clicking on the customer's name in the chat list on the left.

2. At the bottom, below the field where you write messages, locate and click the Actions button.

3. From the dropdown menu that appears, select the Internal notes option.

4. A new dialog window titled "Internal notes" will open. Enter the text of your note in the text field (which shows the placeholder Enter notes...).

5. When you are done, click the Save note button.

Your note will be added to the conversation and will be marked as an Internal note, distinguishing it from messages sent to the customer.
