Display DNS parameters for advanced authentication (DKIM)

This guide shows you how to find the DNS (Domain Name System) parameters needed to configure advanced authentication (DKIM) for your email sender, a crucial step to improve the deliverability of your emails.

The DKIM parameters are visible only if the email address has been validated or is pending approval.

Viewing DNS Parameters for Advanced Authentication (DKIM)

1. Access the list of senders.

2. Click on the email sender for which you want to view the DNS parameters. The edit screen will open.

3. Verify that the Type is set to "Use for emails."

4. Scroll down the page until you find the section titled Advanced Authentication.

  • Note: If this section is not visible, it means that the email address has not yet been validated.

5. Within the Advanced Authentication section, you will find an informational message stating: "Set the following parameters in your domain's DNS settings to improve the delivery rate of sent emails."

6. Below this notice, there is a table containing the DNS records necessary for DKIM authentication. Take note of the data in the columns:

  • Type (should be CNAME)
  • Name
  • Value

These details must be entered into your domain's DNS management panel.
