How to save changes to the sender

This guide outlines the necessary steps to save changes made to an existing sender within the system.


How to Save Changes to the Sender

After modifying a sender's data, you need to save it to apply the changes.

PLEASE NOTE: SMS and Email type senders require a validation process after saving or modifying the address/name.

Follow these steps to save the changes:

1. Access the General Section

Make sure you are in the section named General on the sender edit screen.

2. Modify the Sender Data

Edit the required fields, paying attention to the selected sender type:

  • Sender name: Enter or modify the name that will appear as the sender (mandatory).
  • Attention for SMS: If the Type is set to "Use for SMS", the sender name cannot exceed 11 characters and must contain only alphanumeric characters and specific symbols.
  • Type: Select the desired usage channel:
  • Use for emails
  • Use for SMS
  • Use for WhatsApp

3. Modify Specific Data (Email Only)

If the selected Type is Use for emails, fill in or modify the following fields:

  • Email: The sender's email address (mandatory for emails).
  • Reply To: The address where replies will be sent.

4. WhatsApp Senders Management

If you select the type Use for WhatsApp, creating and editing the sender takes place through a separate form. In this case, you will be redirected to the Settings => Messages => WhatsApp form and it will not be necessary to save data on this screen.

5. Save Changes

After completing your modifications (and if the type is not WhatsApp), click on the Save button (usually located at the top or bottom of the edit screen) to apply the changes.

  • If saving is successful, the system will confirm the operation and reload the page to show the updated validation status of the sender.
