This guide explains how to define whether a sender should be used for sending Emails, SMS, or WhatsApp messages.
Procedure for Selecting the Sender Type
1. Access the sender creation or modification screen.
2. Locate the General section.
3. Find the field labeled Type.
4. Open the dropdown menu and select one of the following options:
- Use for Emails: Selecting this option will require entering the Email address and the optional Reply To field.
- Use for SMS: Selecting this option will use the Sender Name as an identifier for sending SMS messages.
- Use for WhatsApp: Selecting this option will prevent saving data on this screen. A message will be displayed prompting you to use the dedicated module.
5. Action required for WhatsApp: If you choose Use for WhatsApp, click the Go to WhatsApp module button to complete the configuration in the specific module.
6. Saving (for Email and SMS): After selecting the desired type (Email or SMS) and filling in any required fields, save the configuration to activate the sender.
