This guide explains how to access and edit the details of a sender (Email, SMS) already configured in the system.
Editing Procedure
1. Access the section listing the senders.
2. Locate the sender you want to edit and click on the corresponding row to open the editing screen.
3. In the General section, you can modify the main data:
- Sender Name: Enter or change the name that will appear to the recipient.
- Type: Select the usage type of the sender (Use for emails, Use for SMS, Use for WhatsApp).
4. Depending on the selected Type, modify the specific fields:
If you selected Use for emails
- Email: Enter or change the sender's email address.
- Reply To: Enter or change the email address where replies will be sent (optional).
- Validation: If you change the email address, the system may require a new validation. Follow the on-screen instructions. If necessary, click on the Resend activation link.
If you selected Use for SMS
- Make sure that the Sender Name field meets the requirements (maximum 11 characters, company names only).
If you selected Use for WhatsApp
- You will be informed that WhatsApp sender management takes place in a separate module (Settings => Messages => WhatsApp). It is not possible to edit WhatsApp details on this screen.
5. After making all necessary changes, click on the save button to confirm and apply them.
> Note on Validation: If you edit an Email or SMS sender, the new data may require a new validation or approval process before it can be used for sending. Check for alerts shown below the fields.
