insert the sender's name

This guide explains how to set the name that will be displayed as the sender in your communications (email or SMS).

Note: Validation rules (maximum length and allowed characters) vary depending on the type of sender selected (Email or SMS).

Procedure for entering the Sender Name

Follow these steps to configure the sender name:

1. Make sure you are in the General section of the sender edit screen.

2. In the field labeled Sender Name, type the name you want to display (for example, your company or brand name).

3. In the Type field, select which type of communication you will use this sender for:

  • Use for emails
  • Use for SMS
  • Use for WhatsApp (Note: for WhatsApp you will be redirected to a specific form, as indicated in the dedicated section).

4. If you selected "Use for emails":

  • Fill in the Email field with the sender's email address.
  • (Optional) Fill in the Reply To field with the address where you want to receive responses.

5. If you selected "Use for SMS":

  • Make sure that the Sender Name does not exceed 11 characters.
  • Remember that only company names are accepted for SMS (no personal names).

6. Once all necessary data has been entered, click the save button to confirm and submit the data for approval (if necessary).
