This guide explains how to create and validate a new sender to be used for sending emails or SMS.
Procedure for Adding
1. Access the creation form
Make sure you are on the sender management screen and click the button to add a new item (usually a "New" button or a + icon).
2. Enter the Sender Name
In the Sender Name field, enter the name you want your recipients to see.
3. Select the Type
From the dropdown menu Type, select the type of sender you are creating:
Use for emailsUse for SMSUse for WhatsApp
(Note: If you choose "Use for WhatsApp", you will be redirected to the specific form. Saving the sender in this section is not necessary.)
4. Fill in specific details
If you chose "Use for emails"
The email-related fields will appear:
- Email: Enter the email address you will use for sending. This field is mandatory.
- Reply To: (Optional) Enter a different email address if you want recipient replies to be sent elsewhere.
If you chose "Use for SMS"
No additional fields are required, but you must comply with the following rules for the Sender Name:
- The name can have a maximum length of 11 characters.
- You must use company names (personal names are not accepted).
5. Save the sender
Click on the save button.
Validation Steps (Post-Save)
After saving, the sender must be validated before it can be used.
Email Sender Validation
If you created a sender of type Use for emails:
1. The system will immediately send an activation link to the Email address you entered.
2. Check your mailbox (including junk/spam mail) and click on the link contained in the email to validate the address.
3. Once validated, the sender will be ready for use.
> Didn't receive the email?
> If the email address has not yet been validated, you will see a warning message. Click on the Resend activation link to receive a new validation email.
SMS Sender Validation
If you created a sender of type Use for SMS:
1. After saving, the sender name will be submitted for approval.
2. The initial status will be Pending approval.
3. Validation usually takes a few minutes (during working hours). You will receive a notification when the sender is validated and ready to use.
4. If the sender name is not approved, you will need to use a different name.
