Description: This module allows you to link one or more WhatsApp numbers to the Framework360 system to send and receive messages in an automated and centralized way.
What is it for? (Practical examples)
Use WhatsApp Senders Management to:
- Centralize communications: Connect the company number to manage automatic replies or notifications directly from the platform.
- Automate sending: Prepare for mass or transactional message sending (e.g., order confirmations, appointment reminders) through a dedicated number.
- Monitor status: Keep track of the activation status, linked phone number, and renewal date of each account.
Main features
- Account Creation and Management: Add, edit, or delete sender accounts, each associated with a unique WhatsApp number.
- Linking via QR Code: Allows easy linking of the mobile device by scanning a QR Code, following standard WhatsApp procedures (Linked Devices).
- Status Monitoring: Displays in real-time whether the account is
ActiveorInactiveand if the linking has been completed. - Message Queue Management: Offers the ability to clear the queue of messages pending sending for the selected account.
- Reception Configuration: Customize system behavior upon receiving messages or calls.
How to configure
Configuring a sender involves two main phases: General and Reception Options.
1. General Settings and Linking
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Account name | A descriptive name to identify the sender (e.g., "Customer Support", "Order Notifications"). |
| Status | Set the account to Active to enable sending and receiving. Activation may involve credit usage and acceptance of terms of service. |
Linking Procedure
Once the account is saved and set to Active, the Linking section will appear.
1. If the number is not yet linked, a QR Code will be displayed.
2. Open the WhatsApp application on the phone associated with that number.
3. Go to Settings (or ⋮) → Linked Devices.
4. Scan the QR Code shown on the platform screen.
5. The system will automatically update (every 5 seconds) to confirm successful linking and display the associated phone number and next renewal date.
2. Message and Call Reception Options
These settings define how the system should react when receiving communications on the linked number.
Message Reception
| Option | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Message reception | Enables incoming message reception. |
| Notification reception | Enables generating notifications within the platform when a new message is received. |
| Group messages reception | Allows the sender to receive messages even if sent within WhatsApp groups. |
| Send email | Enables sending a notification via email to a specified address whenever a message is received. |
Call Reception
| Option | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Call blocking | If selected, blocks incoming calls on this number. |
| Block message | (Visible only if call blocking is active) A custom message that will be automatically sent to anyone attempting to call this number. |
Automatic integrations
Cost management and Renewal
Activating a WhatsApp sender account is tied to a subscription service. The system:
1. Checks credit availability at activation time.
2. Sets a Next renewal date (usually one month after activation).
3. Upon expiration, automatically manages service renewal by deducting necessary credits.
Queue Clearing
If the account is active, you can access the Clear message queue function. This operation deletes all messages that the system attempted to send but are still waiting for delivery (in queue).
Terms Acceptance
To ensure legal compliance, when creating a new sender account, it is necessary to explicitly accept both WhatsApp's terms and conditions and Framework360's privacy policy.
