This guide explains how to configure the communication port used for sending emails (outgoing server, or SMTP).
Prerequisite: You must have opened the screen for editing or creating a new email connection configuration.
Follow these steps to specify the port:
1. Make sure you are in the configuration section titled Outgoing.
2. Scroll down the page until you find the second configuration area, where the SMTP Login and SMTP Password fields are located.
3. Locate the field labeled Port.
4. Enter the port number required by your email service provider (for example, 587 is often used for TLS encryption or 465 for SSL).
5. After entering the port, click on the save configuration button to apply the changes.
> Tip: Before saving, you can click on the Verify Connection button to ensure that the server (Host), Port, and credentials (Login/Password) are correctly configured.
