This guide shows you how to enter or update the password for your outgoing mail server (SMTP) configuration.
Prerequisites: You must be on the screen for editing or creating a new email connection.
Follow these steps to enter the SMTP password:
1. Once the email connection configuration screen is open, make sure you are in the section titled Outgoing.
2. Scroll down until you find the row containing the fields related to SMTP authentication.
3. In the field labeled SMTP Password, enter the password associated with your SMTP Login.
4. After entering the password, it is recommended to verify that the connection works correctly. Click the Verify Connection button (usually located at the top right).
5. If the verification succeeds, proceed to save the configuration (the save action is managed by the system after verification or via a standard "Save/Confirm" button).
