This guide explains how to change the status of a connection (for example, an email inbox or an SMTP server) by making it active or inactive.
To activate or deactivate a connection, follow these steps:
1. Access the connection settings:
Open the configuration of the connection you want to modify.
2. Locate the Active control:
Within the configuration screen, look for the section related to the connection status. You will find a checkbox labeled:
- Active
3. Activate the connection:
To activate the connection and make it operational, check the Active box.
4. Deactivate the connection:
To deactivate the connection, making it inactive, uncheck the Active box.
5. Save changes:
After setting the desired status, make sure to save the configuration to apply the changes.
> Note: If a connection is active, its status will be displayed as Active (or Default if set as default sender) in the main list of connections. If it is deactivated, the status will be Inactive.
