This guide explains how to manage the subscription or unsubscription of a customer to specific newsletter lists, either by modifying the profile of a single customer or by using bulk actions from the main list.
Guide: Subscribe or Unsubscribe the Customer from Specific Newsletter Lists
Method 1: Management Through Customer Card (Single User)
This method is ideal for viewing and modifying the subscription status of a single customer and the specific lists they are associated with.
1. Access the Customer List
- In the administration panel, navigate to the section containing the customer list (for example, the section where you view columns like
Nome,Cognome,Email).
2. Open the Customer Card
- Click on the desired customer to open their edit card.
3. Go to the Newsletter Section
- Once the card is open, navigate to the first section of the form titled
Anagrafica. - Scroll down until you find the section dedicated to newsletters.
4. Manage Specific Lists
- Locate the field labeled
Liste newsletter. This is a multi-select field showing all available lists. - To subscribe the customer: Click on the name of the desired list to select it.
- To unsubscribe the customer: Click on the name of a previously selected list to deselect it.
> Note on General Subscription: In the same section, you can also manage the general subscription status via the checkbox Abilita iscrizione newsletter (under the label Iscrizione newsletter). Make sure it is checked if the customer should receive communications.
5. Save Changes
- Click on the Save button (or equivalent, such as the floppy disk icon) to apply changes to the customer's profile.
Method 2: Bulk Management From Customer List (Multiple Users)
This method is useful for quickly subscribing or unsubscribing a group of customers to a specific list directly from the main table.
1. Select Customers
- In the main customer list, check the boxes next to the names of customers you wish to modify.
2. Open Additional Actions Menu
- Once customers are selected, look for the bulk actions button (usually a button or dropdown menu appearing above the table).
3. Choose Desired Action
- In the actions menu, locate:
Aggiungi a listaorRimuovi da lista.
4. Select Target List
- Click on
Aggiungi a lista(to subscribe) orRimuovi da lista(to unsubscribe). - A submenu listing all available lists will appear. Click on the specific list name (for example, "Offerte Speciali") to perform the action.
5. Confirm Operation
- The system will ask for confirmation before proceeding with the bulk action. Confirm to apply changes to all selected customers.
