This guide explains how to send messages or start direct communications with a specific customer using the customer management interface.


Guide: Sending Messages to the Customer

To contact a customer directly from their profile, follow these steps:

1. Access the Customer Profile

1. From the main screen, navigate to the customer list.

2. Locate the desired customer using the search fields (for example, by First Name, Last Name, or Email).

3. Click on the customer to open their detail/edit profile.

2. Locate Communication Actions

On the customer's detail screen (edit.php), communication options are located in the right sidebar, below summary information (such as Last Action and Purchases Made).

1. Scroll down the right column until you find the area dedicated to customer actions. This area is internally called customer_actions.

2. In this section, the system displays buttons available to initiate communication.

3. Send the Message

Available communication options may include:

  • Chat (if the feature is active).
  • WhatsApp (if the phone number is present and the feature is active).
  • Call (if the phone number is present).
  • Send [Message Type] (for example, Send SMS, Send Email, depending on system configurations).

1. Click on the button corresponding to the communication method you want to use (for example, Chat).

2. The message composition interface will open.

3. Enter your message content and follow on-screen instructions to send it.

Once sent, the message or communication action will be automatically recorded in the customer's Action History section.
