This guide explains how to automatically generate a new password for a customer and send it directly via email. This process is useful if a customer has forgotten their password or if you want to activate and provide access credentials for the first time.
Warning: By generating new credentials, the customer's old password will be immediately reset and will no longer be valid.
Procedure for Sending Credentials
1. Access the edit tab of the desired customer.
2. In the right sidebar, within the customer preview box, locate the button:
Generate and send credentials via email
3. Click on the Generate and send credentials via email button.
4. A confirmation window will appear with the message: "Are you sure you want to send new credentials to the customer? The current access data will be reset."
5. Click OK to confirm the action.
6. Once completed, a success message will appear: "Credentials generated and sent successfully."
The system will generate a new random password, automatically enable login for the customer, and send an email containing the new credentials to the email address associated with the profile.
