Filter the customer list by language, region, city, or postal code

This guide shows you how to narrow down the customer list using filters based on Language, Region, City, or ZIP Code. This operation helps you quickly find specific groups of customers.

Prerequisites: You must be on the main Customer List screen.


Procedure to Apply Filters

Advanced filters are associated with the column headers of the table.

1. Access the Filters: Locate the main table with the list of customers.

2. Choose the Column to Filter: Scroll horizontally through the table until you find the header of the column you want to use for filtering:

  • Language
  • Region
  • City
  • ZIP Code

3. Open the Filter Panel: Click on the filter field (or filter icon, if present) located above or within the chosen column header.

  • Example: If you selected Language, a list of all languages available among your customers will open.

4. Select the Desired Value: From the list or search field that appears, select the specific value by which you want to filter the results.

  • Example 1 (Language): Select "Italian" to see only customers with language set to Italian.
  • Example 2 (ZIP Code): Enter the specific postal code (e.g., 20121) to see only customers residing in that area.

5. View Results: Once you've selected the value, the table will update automatically (or you may need to click an "Apply" or "Search" button) to show only customers matching the set criterion.

Removing a Filter

To return to viewing all customers:

1. Go back to the filter panel of the column you modified (e.g., Region).

2. Remove the selection or clear any text entered in the filter field.

3. The table will revert to showing the full customer list.
