This guide explains how to access and update the billing information of an existing customer within the system.
Prerequisites: You must have the necessary permissions to modify customer data.
Procedure for Editing Billing Information
Follow these steps to update a customer's billing information:
1. Access the Customer List
Navigate to the section containing the customer list (where the table identified as maintablelist is located).
2. Select the Customer
Locate the customer whose data you want to edit and click on the corresponding record to open the edit screen.
3. Navigate to the Billing Section
The edit screen is structured in steps (a wizard). Click or scroll to the section titled:
Billing Information
4. Edit the Data
Within the Billing Information section, modify the necessary fields (for example, Company Name, VAT Number, Tax Code, Address, etc.).
> Note: If you need to change the customer's main address (not just the billing one), use the previous section titled Customer Data or the next section Shipping Information.
5. Save Changes
After completing the data update, proceed through any remaining wizard steps (if present) and click on the main save button (usually labeled "Save" or "Update") located on the top toolbar.
The system will save the new billing information. You will receive a confirmation notification upon success.
