Why do it: To add a visual effect of gradient or semi-transparent color over the slide's background image or video, enhancing the readability of the foreground text.
Procedure
1. Access the edit page of the desired Slider.
2. In the Slides section, select the tab related to the slide you want to work on.
3. Scroll down until you find the box titled Background.
4. Within this section, locate the secondary box titled Overlay.
5. In the field labeled Gradient:
- Click on the input field or associated icon to open the gradient selection tool.
- Select or define the color gradient you wish to apply.
6. (Optional) In the field labeled Color:
- Click on the selector to define a solid color to use as overlay (if you are not using a gradient, or as a base).
7. (Optional) In the field labeled Opacity:
- Enter a numeric value (from 0 to 100) to adjust the transparency of the applied overlay.
8. Once configured, proceed to save the Slider. Click on the button to Save changes.
