Why do it: Adding a new slide is necessary to expand the content displayed in the main carousel of the website.
Procedure
1. Access the editing page of the desired Slider (Carousel).
2. Scroll down the page until you find the section titled Slides.
3. Within the Slides section, look for and click on the button or icon (usually a + or the text Add Slide) to create a new tab.
4. A new configuration tab will open for the newly created slide.
5. Configure the Slide:
- In the Slide Title field, enter an internal name to identify the slide (this title is not visible to end users).
- Background (Images and Style):
- Upload the main image via the Desktop Image field.
- Upload an optimized image for mobile devices via the Mobile Image field.
- Set background display options (such as Size, Repeat, Position, and Attachment) as needed.
- Video (Optional):
- In the Video section, if you want to use a video as background, enter the link (Vimeo/Youtube) in the Background Video field.
- Set video behavior upon completion (On video completion) and its visibility on various devices (Display on).
- Overlay (Filters):
- In the Overlay section, you can apply color or gradient filters. Set the desired Gradient, Color, and Opacity.
- Content:
- In the Content field, use the visual editor to insert text, buttons, and all elements that should appear in front on the slide.
6. Once you have finished configuring the slide, click on the main save button of the module (usually Save changes).
