This guide explains how to use demographic filters (Gender, City, and ZIP Code) within the report creation and viewing interface.
Prerequisites: You must have selected a report that includes customer data (for example, a report from the "Customers" category).
Procedure for Applying Filters
1. Access the Filters Section:
Once you have opened the desired report, scroll down until you find the box titled Filters and Sorting.
2. Apply the Gender Filter:
- Locate the label Gender.
- Use the dropdown menu below to select the desired option:
- Select
Maleto view only data related to male users. - Select
Femaleto view only data related to female users. - Leave the option on
All(default) to not apply this filter.
3. Apply the City Filter:
- Locate the label City.
- Type the name of the city you want to filter in the text field. The system will search for partial matches (for example, typing "Rome" will include all data related to that city).
4. Apply the ZIP Code Filter:
- Locate the label ZIP Code.
- Type the exact postal code you want to filter in the text field.
5. View Results:
After modifying the filter values, the report will automatically update to reflect the filtered data.
> Note: If you are configuring a new report or widget, make sure you have completed setting up the Columns / Dimensions and Metrics (Values) to properly display filtered results.
