This guide explains how to set the placeholder text (also known as placeholder) that appears inside an input field before the user starts typing.
> Note: The "Field placeholder" feature is available only for specific types of fields, such as text, email, or numeric fields.
Follow these steps to define the placeholder for a field in your Form:

Generali). - Locate the box titled
Campi.
2. Open Field Settings
- Click on the specific field for which you want to set the placeholder to open the settings panel.
3. Check Compatibility
- Ensure that the selected field is a standard input field (for example, the
Tipologia campomust support text input). - Verify that the
Tipologia input(e.g.,Testo,Email,Telefono,Numerico, orPassword) is compatible with setting a placeholder.
4. Define the Field Placeholder
- Scroll down in the field settings panel until you find the label:
Suggerimento campo
- In the text box below, enter the placeholder text you want to be displayed inside the empty field (for example: "Inserisci qui il tuo nome completo").
5. Save Changes
- Once you have entered the placeholder text, proceed to save the Form to apply the changes.
The text entered in Suggerimento campo will now appear as guidance for the end user in the published Form.
