Guide: Insert or Edit Guest Post Content
To insert or edit the details of a guest post, follow these steps.
Procedure
1. Access Editing: From the list of guest posts, click on the post you want to edit or start creating a new post.
2. Fill in Main Data (Left Column):
- In the Guestpost Title field, enter the main title of the post.
- In the Slug field, enter the friendly URL (usually automatically generated from the title but can be manually edited).
- In the Content field, enter or modify the body text of the guest post using the visual editor.
3. Manage Attachments:
- Under the Attachments label, use the manager to upload or select media files (images, etc.) to associate with the post.
4. Configure Options (Right Column):
- Status: Check the box Show on site if you want the guest post to be immediately visible to the public.
- Category: Use the dropdown menu under Category to assign the post to one or more existing categories.
- Author Data: Fill in fields related to the author (for example, Name, Email, etc.) displayed in this section.
- Tags: In the Tags field, enter relevant keywords. You can type a tag and press Enter to add it.
- Language: Select the Language in which the guest post is written from the dropdown menu.
(Note: The "Ban" and "Actions" sections in the right column are used to manage the author's IP and do not require input from you for editing content.)
5. Save: Click on the save button (usually located at the top or bottom of the screen) to apply all changes.
