Map the response of a field for the registration or updating of the user's personal data

Why do it:

This procedure allows you to automatically save the user's response in a specific form field (Contract) directly into their profile data (for example, updating the "Email" or "Phone" field).

Procedure

1. Access the Contracts (or Forms) management section.

2. Click on the Contract you want to edit.

3. In the editing screen, scroll down to the section where the questions (Sections) are listed.

4. Click on the section (field) containing the response you want to map. The field configuration panel will open.

5. Make sure the field is of a Type that supports profile mapping (such as Text, Radio Button, or Custom Fields).

6. Within the field settings, locate the section containing these two labels:

• Precompilazione campo
• Registrazione anagrafica

7. In the field under the label Registrazione anagrafica, click on the dropdown menu and select the user profile field you want to update with the provided response.

• Example: If the user answers "What is your email?", select Email from the dropdown menu.
• The options are grouped, such as:
• Nome
• Cognome
• Email
• P. IVA
• Codice Fiscale
• ... and other personal or billing fields.

8. After selecting the target field, make sure to save the entire Contract by clicking Salva modifiche (or the form's final save action).

> Note about pre-filling: The Precompilazione campo field serves the opposite function: if the user is logged in, the system will automatically fill in the form field with existing data from their profile. Select here which profile field to pull data from.
