This guide explains the procedure for setting up and configuring a new contract form.
Procedure
To create a new contract, follow the steps in the guided form.
Step 1: Contract Data
This section defines the name, URL, and general settings of the contract.
1. Enter the contract name in the Contract Name field.
2. Enter the unique identifier of the contract in the Slug\* field. (This field often auto-fills based on the Contract Name).
3. In the right sidebar, configure the general options:
- Check Active Contract to make the contract available to users.
- Check Allow multiple submissions if a user can fill out the same contract multiple times.
- In the Numbering display dropdown menu, choose the format for submission numbering (e.g., number only or Year and numbering).
- In the Send confirmation email section, check the appropriate boxes to send a copy of the completed contract:
- To client
- To operator
Step 2: Contract Structure (Sections)
The content of the contract is built using sections, which can be questions, text fields, or informational blocks.
1. Below the Contract Name and Slug fields, look for the area dedicated to creating sections (usually a block interface or an Add Section button).
2. Click on the button to add a new section.
Configuring a Section
For each added section, you must define:
1. Title: Enter the title of the section or question.
2. Description: Enter explanatory text or the body of the contract related to this section.
3. Type: Select the type of field you want to use. The chosen type determines additional available settings.
4. Required: Check this box if the user must provide an answer or input to proceed.
> Note: If you choose types visualbuilder or textarea, the Required option will not be visible, as these types are mainly used for informational content.
Advanced Configuration (Settings)
After selecting the Type, a specific Settings section for that field will appear.
| Section Type | Main Settings | Description | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Radio | Select available answers | Enter response options separated by vertical bars (e.g., `Yes | No | Maybe`). |
| Checkbox | Select available answers | Enter consent options separated by vertical bars. | ||
| Textarea | Advanced textarea | Allows entering formatted content (via visual editor) or long text in the body of the contract. | ||

> Personal Data Option: Many field types (such as Radio, Textarea, Custom) include options for Field prefill and Personal data registration. These allow automatically populating fields with existing user data or saving user responses into specific fields in their personal profile.
Step 3: Saving
1. Once all sections of the contract are configured, scroll to the end of the guided form.
2. Click on the Save changes button (or equivalent to complete the wizard) to save and activate the new contract.
