Why do it:
Setting an overlay color helps ensure that the text and foreground elements are readable by creating a strong contrast with the background image or video.
Procedure:
1. Access the Slider editing and select the slide (tab) on which you want to apply the overlay.
2. Scroll down to find the box titled Background.
3. Within the Background box, locate the section titled Overlay.
4. In the field labeled Color, click on the text field or the eyedropper icon to open the color picker.
5. Select the desired color for the overlay (for example, black to darken the background or a specific color to give a uniform tone).
6. In the field labeled Opacity, enter a numeric value as a percentage (from 0 to 100).
- Note: A value of
100makes the overlay completely opaque, hiding the background. A lower value (e.g.,50) makes it semi-transparent.
7. After setting the color and opacity, make sure to save your changes. Click on the Save button.
