Choose the closing trigger (Button click, External click, No closing)

This guide will help you configure the ways users can close the popup after it appears.

Choosing the Popup Close Trigger

Why do it:

To define whether the popup can be closed via the dedicated button, by clicking outside the popup area, or if it should not be closable by the user.

Procedure:

1. In the popup editing screen, navigate to the step (or section) titled Comportamento.

2. Locate the field labeled Trigger chiusura.

3. Click on the dropdown menu and select the desired option:

  • Click sul pulsante di chiusura e click esterno (Default option): Allows closing the popup either by clicking on the close button (usually an "X") or by clicking on the dark overlay area surrounding the popup.
  • Click sul pulsante di chiusura: The popup can only be closed via the dedicated close button.
  • Click all'esterno del popup: The popup closes only when the user clicks on the external area (overlay).
  • Non permettere la chiusura: The popup cannot be closed by the user and will remain visible until it is automatically hidden (if you have set a Nascondi automaticamente dopo in the Preferenze section).

4. Once you have selected the option, proceed to save the popup to apply the changes.

> Note on close button visibility: If you select Click all'esterno del popup, the Pulsante chiusura field (present in the Aspetto step) will be hidden, as the button will not be necessary for closing.
