Choose the popup closing method (Click on the button, Click outside, No closing)

Content:

This guide shows you how to define how users can close the popup once it has been displayed.

Procedure

1. While editing the popup, navigate to the Behavior section (or tab).

2. Locate the field labeled Close Trigger.

3. Click on the dropdown menu and select one of the following options:

  • Click on the close button and outside click: The popup closes if the user clicks either on the default "X" button or anywhere outside the popup area (on the overlay). (This is the default setting).
  • Click on the close button: The popup can only be closed by clicking on the close icon or button (the "X"). Clicking outside will have no effect.
  • Click outside the popup: The popup closes only when the user clicks outside the popup area. (If you choose this option, the option to customize the Close Button in Appearance will be hidden).
  • Do not allow closing: The popup cannot be closed by the user. It will remain visible until it is automatically hidden (if an auto-hide time has been set) or until the user navigates to another page.

4. After selecting your desired option, proceed with saving the popup.
