Apply the inclusion/exclusion rules also to child pages

By default, the inclusion or exclusion rules of a Popup apply only to the specific selected pages. This guide shows you how to extend these rules also to the child pages (sub-pages) of those you have specified.

Apply inclusion/exclusion rules also to child pages

Why do this:

If you have set the Popup to be shown on a main page (e.g., /services/), enabling this option will make it automatically appear also on all pages located under that main page (e.g., /services/service-a/, /services/service-b/).

Procedure:

1. Access the editing screen of the desired Popup.

2. Make sure the Popup is configured for automatic display. In the first section (Content), verify that the Show automatically box is checked.

3. Click on the Wizard step (or tab) titled Conditions.

4. Scroll down to the section titled Limit by link.

5. Within this section, locate and check the checkbox:

  • Also apply to any child pages

6. Complete the Wizard and save changes to apply the new rule.
