Why do it: To remove one or more pages from the public navigation of the site, while keeping them available in the administration panel for future edits.
Procedure
1. Access the Pages management section, where the maintablelist table is displayed.
2. Select the pages you want to hide by checking the selection box next to each row.
3. Once the pages are selected, click on the bulk actions button or dropdown menu that appears above the table.
4. Select the Hide from site action.
5. A confirmation window will appear with the message: Are you sure you want to hide X page(s)? Click OK to confirm the action.
6. The table will update and the hidden pages will be marked as inactive (often highlighted in red) and will no longer be accessible on the site.
