Defining a parent page is useful for organizing site content into a hierarchical structure (for example, an "About Us" page and a subpage "History").
Procedure
1. Access the page you want to edit.
2. In the main section of the page (<h1>Page</h1>), locate the field labeled Parent Page.
3. Click on the dropdown menu and select the page you want to set as the parent.
- If you do not want to assign a parent page, make sure the None option is selected.
4. If you have selected a parent page, the Slug Divider field will appear. This field defines the character that will separate the slug of the parent page from that of the child page in the URL.
5. Select one of the following options for the divider:
- Default: The page inherits the divider set by the parent page.
- Use slash (/): Uses a slash as the divider.
- Use dash (-): Uses a dash as the divider.
6. After defining the hierarchy and completing other changes to the page, proceed to save the form.
