Search for a field for configuration

This guide explains how to use the search function to quickly find available fields when configuring a Report or Widget.

Prerequisites: You must be in the configuration mode of a Report or Widget (sidebar visible).


Step-by-Step Procedure

1. In the configuration sidebar, locate the section where you want to add a field (for example, Columns / Dimensions, Metrics (Values), or Filters).

2. Click on the Add field icon (pencil <i class="fa fa-pencil"></i> or plus <i class="fa fa-plus"></i>) located next to the section label. The sidebar will switch to Select fields mode.

3. At the top of the panel, locate the search box with the placeholder text Cerca campo....

4. Type the name or part of the name of the field you are looking for.

  • The list of fields below will update in real time, showing only fields that match the entered text.

5. Select the desired fields by checking their respective boxes.

6. Click on the Confirm button to add the selected fields to your Report or Widget configuration.
