Description: This tool allows you to organize and catalog collections of images and documents by creating specific galleries that can be reused in different sections of the system.
What is it for? (Practical examples)
Use the Multimedia Galleries module to:
- Portfolio Creation: Collect high-resolution images of products or services for display on a dedicated webpage.
- Document Archive: Organize and make available for download groups of related documents (such as price lists, technical sheets, user manuals in PDF format, or spreadsheets).
- Rich Media Content Management: Prepare sets of images to integrate into articles, newsletters, or product sheets.
Main Features
Galleries are managed through a central panel that allows creation, modification, and deletion of content.
- Creation and Editing: It is possible to create new galleries or modify existing ones.
- Title and Description: Each gallery requires a mandatory title and can have an optional description to facilitate organization.
- Multilingual Support: Both the gallery title and description can be translated, allowing the same gallery to be used on multilingual sites or sections.
- Flexible Uploading: You can upload up to 100 files per single gallery. The tool supports not only standard image formats (JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, TIFF) but also important documents like PDF, ODS, and XLSX.
- Quick Preview: On the main management screen, a preview of the first five uploaded images is shown to quickly identify the gallery’s content.
- Image Management: The media upload tool ensures images meet minimum dimensions (50x50 pixels) and manages thumbnail creation (200 pixels wide) for optimal viewing.
How to configure it
Creating a new gallery takes place through the editing module where required fields are filled out:
| Field | Description | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gallery Name | The main title of the collection. | Yes | Supports translation into multiple languages. |
| Description | Additional information about the gallery. | No | Supports translation into multiple languages. |
| Images | Area for uploading or selecting media files. | No | Accepts up to 100 files including images and documents. |
To add files, use the integrated media upload tool which allows dragging files or selecting them from the existing library.
Automatic Integrations
Once created, the gallery becomes a reusable asset within the Framework360 system.
- Content Integration: The gallery can be called and displayed on web pages, blog articles, or product sheets, enabling dynamic showcasing of the uploaded file collection.
- Centralized Management: Since files are centrally managed, updating a gallery automatically reflects in all areas of the system where it has been inserted.
