Define the number of rows for an extended text field

This guide explains how to configure the height (measured in rows) of a textarea field within your form.

> Note: This setting is only visible for fields configured as extended text or that support multi-line input.

Follow these steps to set the number of rows:

1. Access the Fields Section

In the Form editing panel, go to the section titled Fields.

2. Select or Add the Field

Locate the textarea field you want to modify. If it is not present, add a new field.

3. Verify the Field Type

Ensure that the selected Field Type allows extended (multi-line) text input.

4. Locate the "Number of Rows" Setting

Scroll through the field settings until you find the label: Number of Rows.

This setting is generally found on the second line of the field configuration options.

5. Define the Number of Rows

In the numeric input box next to the Number of Rows label, enter your desired value. This number represents the height of the text area visible to the end user (the default value is usually 4).

6. Save Changes

Complete the wizard and save the Form to apply the modification.
