Modify an existing resource (implied by the table and the edit form)

Content:

To edit the details or file of an already uploaded resource, you need to access the main list, select the desired item, and save the changes in the edit form.

Procedure

1. Access the resources list. You will find a table containing the columns Title, Downloads, and Protected.

2. Locate the resource you want to edit and click on the corresponding row (or on the edit icon, if present) to open the edit form.

3. Once the form is open, you will be in the main section, called Files.

  • Title and Slug:
  • Edit the File Title field to update the displayed name of the resource.
  • Edit the Slug field if you want to change the unique web address of the resource (usually generated automatically from the Title).
  • File:
  • In the "Files" section, you can replace or update the uploaded file. Click on the upload area to select a new file from your computer.

4. Move to the Limitations section (often accessible via a tab or a "Next" button if the form is divided into steps).

  • Access:
  • Select the Logged-in users only checkbox under the Limit access label if you want the resource to be accessible only to registered and authenticated users. If unchecked, the resource will be freely accessible.

5. After completing all changes, click on the save button (usually named Save or Save changes) to apply the updates.

The system will confirm saving or, in case of missing data, notify you if the fields File Title, Slug, or the file itself have not been properly filled out.
